2015 National Association of School Psychologists
We were thrilled to go to Orlando, Florida to present at the annual convention of the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP).
Melissa De Riggi presented a poster on school professionals’ response to NSSI training.
Dana Carsley presented a poster on the effectiveness of mindfulness-based art on test anxiety reduction.
Sophia Fajnerova presented 2 posters: her first poster was on the relation between basic needs and high school dropout, and her second poster examined the needs of school personnel in supporting students with anxiety and depression.
Despite the cooler temperatures, we all had a wonderful time. We went to some really great talks and workshops, we were able to network with other graduate students with similar research interests, and we also had a lot of fun exploring the theme parks in Orlando.
